Myself Dr. Prasad. I have finished my MBBS from Government medical college and my post-graduation in Paediatrics from Maharashtra, India. I took my training in diabetes and obesity care from the Royal college of physicians London accredited center.

Frankly speaking, starting online medical consultation/ diabetes/ obesity management was never in my mind. A few months back I heard the news of a person, from my village, died of diabetes and obesity-related complications. After visiting his home I realized he was suffering from a very mild form of diabetes mellitus. He developed diabetic and obesity-related complications because of no proper counseling from his local health provider. I was already disturbed because of his untimely death when I noticed some online diabetes/obesity reversal clinic advertisements on the internet. That clinic was charging almost Rs 20000 per patient on the pretext of multiple appointments.  I was shocked to see this legalized form of loot. In my experience, if a doctor is genuine then the diabetic patient can be counseled for reducing blood sugar in just two visits. This incident was the turning point for me to start thinking about poor patients. 

Through this blog, I have given my honest efforts to provide must-know information about diabetes to all needy patients.
